This DVD is a collection of short newsreels regarding the Nazi War Crimes, as well as a longer film on postwar Germany.  The short films are snippets from the Nuremburg trials.  We also have a DVD available that has a very long feature on Nazi Concentration Camps, please look at our other items.  This DVD is great for the teacher, the student, scholar, or historian.  This DVD contains about 1 hour of footage and has a fully interactive menu.  A list of films included is as follows:

This movie is the heart of this DVD.  4 part movie about the investigation of German industrial production capabilities after the devastation of World War II. You see shots of neighborhoods and businesses alike.  With striking images of destroyed German cities and factories. Towards the end of part one, and continued in the rest, you see what the aftermath of a real war, not some Hollywood movie or some terrorist attack: Building after building, street after street, city after city of rubble. People, years after the end of the war, digging in the ruins, and barefoot children in food ration lines. Amateur film made by George T. Fonda, assistant to the president, Weirton Steel Company.
