Learn how to speak Lingala
Lingala is a Bantu language
spoken throughout the northwestern part of the Democratic
Republic of the Congo and a large part of the Republic of
the Congo, as well as to some degree in Angola and the
Central African Republic. It has over 10 million speakers.
This foreign
language course was developed by The Foreign Services
institute. It is meant to be used as a crash course in
a foreign language for basic conversational ability by a
foreign traveler or diplomat. It is an introductory
course meant for beginners and includes basic conversational
language by native speakers.
This course
consists of 24 lessons in mp3 format, with 1 student text
in PDF format of over 300 pages. Adobe Reader is
required to view the PDF file, while the mp3 files can be
listened to by any audio player on your PC.
