Created by William B. Ziff, a former WWI aviator, Popular Aviation was launched in 1927,  In 1929, it became the most popular aviation magazine in the world, with circulation over 100,000 issues.  It went through numerous name changes, to Aeronautics in 1929. back to Popular Aviation in 1930, and then to Flying in 1942.

This collection on DVD contains 227 issues of this magazine, all in PDF format.  Make sure you check out volume 1 in our ebay store.  Page length varies, each issue is about 65-70 pages.

Please note that this collection contains scans of old magazines, some of which were in poor condition before being rescued and digitized for posterity.  This means that you may see some covers with creases and tears that show up in the scans.
