Electronics Illustrated was a hobbyist and experimenters' magazine started in May 1958 by Fawcett Publications, who published Mechanix Illustrated. The magazine was published monthly from 1959 to 1961 then bi-monthly until November 1972.

Popular Electronics was created in 1954 by Ziff-Davis Publishing for an audience of  electronics hobbyists and experimenters. It soon became the "World's Largest-Selling Electronics Magazine". The circulation was 240,000 by 1957 and exceeded 400,000 by 1963. Rival Electronics World was merged into Popular Electronics in 1972.

Radio Age was one of many 20's publication featuring construction articles, receiver discussions and station lists. The station lists were consistently published in each issue, and quite accurate.

Radio TV Experimenter was published from 1950 until 1969, after which it became Science and Electronics. During the first 10 years it was a supplement to Science & Mechanics Magazine.

Tape Recording reported on the home, office, factory, school, cine, amateur dramatic and musical uses of sound tape in the UK and Europe.

Amateur Tape Recording was a hobbyist audio recording magazine started by the British Recording Club in August of 1959. It published monthly until October, 1967.

This collection on DVD contains 378 vintage magazines, all in PDF format. 

Please note that this collection contains scans of old magazines, some of which were in poor condition before being rescued and digitized for posterity.  This means that you may see some pages with creases and tears that show up in the scans.
